Some Karma. Please.

I have good manners. I always say please and thank you.  I am sincerely grateful for all the good stuff in my life.  I put money into the parking meters of strangers, randomly spread the joy of good java, and always put the new toilet paper on the roll.  Most importantly, I do the things I say I’m going to do.  And it’s not as if I’m greedy and expect randomly great things from a world that owes me.  But I truly believe the theory that energy goes around.  Thus, spreading good energy is a good thing.  It always works, too.  You invest time, energy & passion, and you get it back.

So.  Will someone PLEEZE explain how all of this can be possible in the space of one day?

  • my washing machine broke down.  It’s not old.  It’s a groovy good front loader one.
  • an almost-noodle-fire-in my mircrowave (creating so much smoke in my house that I considered permanent evacuation as a viable option)
  • an already annoying little dog with more-than-annoying-diahreah
  • TWO unsolicited pre-recorded phone calls at VERY inopportune moments
  • a hole in my fave GAP t-shirt
  • a new mascara dropped in the toilet
  • Anderson Cooper has days off
  • a migraine (which, incidentally preceeded all of these other things)

So I need a Karmic Fix.  Naturally the wine I just opened will help.  But one other thing might make me smile and help me get my balance back.  How’s about going over to www.karmaqueens.typepad.com, reading the blogs and then leaving marvelously cool comments?  Please.  It’s all in the name of karmic balance.
