I’m good at some things. I can make really good latte foam. I pick out the best greeting cards. And if there’s good, dark chocolate around, I’ll find it. Other things, though, I leave for others. Following recipes, for instance. No matter how many times I repeat the mantra “must follow instructions, must follow instructions”, about half-way through I have some demonic urge to rebel. To get creative. It never quite works out (with the exception of martini recipes; after three martinis, any combination is fab). Computers are also murky for my brain. I’ve worn the key stamps off of several laptops, but besides a nice word program, technology stuff boggles my brain and has always been left to others. Until now!
With this first blog I am officially a savvy wizard of technology… or at least able to follow the instructions of the very nice web-man I just spent the past hour talking to. So… Welcome to my blog. Am I on a roll? Should I dust off my recipe books?
Huge thanks to Kelly Talbot, whose prodding finally worked, to Nan & her Image Design team for working with me, and for all those agent bloggers (whose posts I read religiously) who continue to lament about the importance of author websites. Creative martinis to all of you.
Really, really great website. Congrats!
Can’t wait to follow your up and coming works until publishing so I can finally read them (& tell everyone I know). Would still really like a sequel to West Wind!
