the orchid, dormant all winter long, has sprouted beautiful buds! this makes me feel quite like a domestic goddess since the only things i have kept alive long term are: a giant fig tree and my offspring.

further adding to my jubilation is the SCORE of my new fave MAC lipstick - (why oh why do they create limited edition amazingness in such small batches) which i hunted for in several stores to no avail. happily, the online store had a plethora. deanna compulsively bought enough to continue euphoria for many moons. it should arrive today.

hmmm. today the possibilities seem limitless. perhaps i can dream big enough to hope for the lady at the bus stop to have regressed back to her old fashioned spy glass? (silly woman traded it in for an iphone).
