So my little baby niece, Ella, (you know… the fairly new one) Yah… Well…. She’s been out and about in the world for a few months now and absolutely rockin’ it. In fact, the other day I saw her and her (equally as fab) mama told me that she: “grew a tooth today”. Grew a tooth. Grew a Tooth! Like, one days she’s a teensy toothless wonder, and the next she’s sporting tools that will assist her consumption of tzatziki, icing, and Starbucks goodies. So anyhow, I got to thinking how cool it would be to just take some kinda monumental thing and have it just “happen” overnight.
What if you could wake up and:
- One of the MAC gurus just happened to be visiting as you were making a wee purchase, decided YOUR LIPS should be THEIR TESTERS and sent you free lipstick for the rest of your life?
- Bono finally wrote back. And he’s coming tomorrow.
- That last 15 pounds melted whilst you were dreaming about your date with Bono.
- You were flooded with that freaky fab intense teenage kinda love (but WITH brains this time - not necessarily with Bono if he’s - gasp - not your type…).
- Your entire house (including the laundry…. folded) was spotless leaving you free to experiment with martini mixes.
- You suddenly could play a kick ass game of Mario Kart and beat the hell out of your friends (or offspring) with hardly any effort.
what would be your uber-sudden overnight fast lane wish? 
That I would wake up and my house would be decorated in a warm, beautiful, stylish, artistic, unique and childproof way, and that all of the little artstic things that I always hope to do but never seem to find time for were done and touching all parts of our home. Oh, and the visa bill for all of this deorating would also be magically paid for when I woke up (in my now king-size bed c/w Westin hotel comfort bed package and stylish bedding). Now leaving fantasy disco…
September 12th, 2008 at 9:19 pmI wish while I was sleeping the four languages in my head would find separate brain space (like a card catalogue) so during the day I would only have to locate one area of my brain to speak and if I wanted to switch languages I would just have to locate the next language area. Ohh adding an extra language over night would be cool too. Waking up and just being able to speak Italian or German or Danish would be maravillosa!
