“From here to there, From there to here, Funny things are Everywhere”

My life is more like Dr. Suess than the big screen, I think.  Not so full of glam & action… But simple, nonsensical & full of hilarity all at once.

Yesterday, in the most unexpected place, I met such a cool person.  Cowboy to the hilt.  An outdoorsman through and through.  I must say I don’t generally get an opportunity to meet true cowboys or avid, lifelong outdoorsy people (as those aren’t the types who apply to be baristas at Starbucks, or cashiers at MAC, or hang out by the Vanity Fair magazine displays)… Anyhow, he actually was the horse whisperer who drove our horse carriage up a bunch of snowy, beautiful paths into this wild trapper cabin for dinner at the Silver Star Resort.  He’s mined for diamonds, gold, uranium, traveled the world, written articles, trained all kinds of animals… His life has been series of totally amazing adventures and it was a treat to hear about them.

Also.  I had no freaking idea that sleigh horses have “poop” bags attached to them…
